چکیده
In collective human memory, there have always been years that are remembered for the major political and social changes took place during them. Thus, 1918 1945 were when two world wars ended, their outcomes shaped architecture of many years. We can consider 1989 another such historical year, because it marked collapse a decades-long bipolar order. 1989, democratisation process began in communist Croatia, which Franjo Tuđman became key personality newly established non-Communist opposition. Tuđman’s ascent today be reconstructed very easily with help available documents from former State Security Service Republican Secretariat Interior Socialist Republic Croatia relevant literature. The main chronological divide this paper is 17 June Croatian Democratic Union was non-public space, elected its first president.
